Condé Introduces Top-To-Bottom Mug Transfers For Inkjet Sublimation Transfer

Mobile, AL – May 1, 2001 – Condé™ Systems, Inc. has introduced a way for custom imprinters to produce high quality top-to-bottom transfers on its line of DyeTrans™ ceramic mugs. Before this development, quality top-to-bottom transfers were generally only available from high volume commercial imprinters using offset dyes and commercial ovens. Imprinters using wrap-around mug presses found blurry or incomplete image areas at the top and bottom edges of the mugs, forcing them to crop or reduce the size of the transferred image. Condé's new top-to-bottom mug solution allows custom imprinters to use a Genny 200 (or similar) wrap-around mug press to transfer larger, more dramatic images - therefore dispelling the myth that edge-to-edge inkjet sublimation on mugs can't be achieved. Composed of DyeTrans Ceramic Mugs, DyeTrans Sublimation Paper, DyeTrans ProSpray™ and SubliJet® Sublimation Inks, this solution can produce a top-to-bottom mug for just a few pennies more than producing a mug with a smaller image area.
